Faqs About My Fishing Trips

  • What should I bring?
  • You will need a Texas fishing license, which can be picked up from just about anywhere inexpensively. Both Walmart and any outdoor store carries them. Or you can get one online here: Texas Parks & Wildlife Licenses Online. Sunscreen, snacks and drinks are a good idea.

  • Should I bring my own rod, reel and tackle???
  • You can bring your own if you like. I have all the gear you will need. If you want to try for smaller fish during the trip, such as bass, catfish and needlenose gar, you will need to bring your own light tackle.

  • How many ANGLERS can your boat hold?
  • The boat can hold up to 8 anglers plus myself. The boat is 20 feet long and 8 feet wide.

  • Can we bring beer?
  • Yes. As long as everyone is 21 and up.

  • Where will we be fishing?
  • I fish all over Texas from the Louisiana border to the Mexico border and anywhere in between. The weather changes and so do the fish. If conditions are not good, I move to a better location to help improve your chances of getting what you came for.

  • Where will we stay?
  • We usually stay at a motel near the water body we will be fishing. Rooms usually cost about $40.00 to $65.00 a night.

  • How many days do you recommend?
  • Typically my out of state and out of country customers book 2 to 5 day trips and then book again the following year. My in state customers book 1 to 2 day trips and then book again for later in the year.
